A Homeopathic Approach to the Spectrum of Learning Disabilities
19 December 2024, 5:00 PM-6:00 PM PST
Join John Millar, BSc, ND, DHANP, CCH, HOM for an exclusive preview of his upcoming course!
COURSE OVERVIEW
ACHENA APPROVAL PENDING
Join WholeHealthNow and Dr. John Millar for a 6-week course exploring the topic of learning disabilities. Following closely on the heels of his recent course, “From Absent-minded to Alzheimer's”, Dr. Millar will now guide our attention to the opposite extreme of the age spectrum.
Most commonly diagnosed in today’s younger student population, these conditions, frequently diagnosed as comorbid conditions, lend themselves well to homeopathic treatment. Similar to the previous course, this course will also include a discussion of brain function, the microbiome, and the bowel nosodes. Of special interest - we will investigate the potential connection of some of these disorders and comorbidities with vaccination. Diagnoses like Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, (ODD), and Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), are of particular interest in this regard.
As always, Dr. Millar will utilize a combination of case examples, remedy profiles, and useful rubrics to broaden understanding and offer practical, accessible tools. In addition, the course will include a discussion of lifestyle considerations and touch on the topic of adjunct therapies. Special consideration will be given to the role of vaccination and the relationship of these disorders to the gut microbiome.
Conditions and Topics to be covered include:
Learning disabilities, Learning disorders, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Non-Verbal Learning Disability (NVLD), Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).
Remedies to be discussed include (partial list):
Agaricus muscarius, Borax venatta, Lycopodium clavatum, Thuja occidentalis, DPT, MMR, Bowel nosodes, Cannabis indica, Medorrhinum, Tuberculinum, Phosphoric acid, Nux vomica, Kali phosphoricum., Lachesis muta, Chamomila, Carcinosum, Oxytocin, and many more.
Homeopathy offers significant hope for the patients and families whose lives have been affected by the spectrum of learning disabilities. Join us as we continue this journey exploring what homeopathy can offer for your patients.
NOTE: 'The Dog Ate My Homework: Learning Disabilities and Homeopathy’s Role in Treatment' will be held on the Zoom platform to allow for greater student interactivity. Please note that you will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement upon enrollment in this course.

PRAISE FOR John Millar
I just want to say that Dr. Millar is a tremendous teacher in this webinar format. He brings ready access to multiple sources and approaches to homeopathy and is relaxed and helpful about people’s questions. And pleasant and lots of fun to listen to/watch. It feels immediate even though I am doing it by video from thousands of miles away.
I’m not writing this as something to go into a blurb for his courses, but to say that if he tolerates this format well enough to keep doing it, course after course, that would be tremendous news.
— Sarah D.
Dr. Millar was a superb teacher and had good organization and content . . . His experience and breadth of knowledge kept me engaged the entire time.
— Gloria St John
I just want to thank everyone involved and especially Dr. Millar for these excellent classes! I am not available Thursday evenings, and have been enjoying listening to the classes later and at a slower pace. I look forward to more.

Learning is a lifelong journey. I have been blessed with wonderful teachers in my life.....but every now and then you encounter one who does more than teach......one who inspires you to think beyond the curriculum and draw from perhaps dusty corners of your mind. John Millar is such a teacher. In his classroom, the subject matter becomes alive, meaningful and relevant.... and fascinating! The power of Classical Homeopathy is revealed in all its healing beauty and the student is changed forever - no longer able to think in limited ways - but instead enriched with sound knowledge, wisdom, creativity and compassion.
— Catherine Elliott
