Amy Rothenberg

(1960-)

Amy Rothenberg was born March 14, 1960 in New York City.

Dr. Rothenberg attended Antioch College after which she graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1986 (ND). She is board certified in homeopathy by the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians.

She currently practices classical homeopathy within a naturopathic family practice, part-time, in Enfield, Connecticut. She has presented her skills at creating a healing environment with her patients as well as her gentle case-taking approach to the homeopathic community by teaching both in the USA and abroad.

Over the years she has emphasized the compatibility of other forms of natural medicine such as therapeutic nutrition and botanical medicine with homeopathy. She is often interviewed by members of the media looking for the natural medicine angle on current health care topics.

In 1989 she and her husband, Paul Herscu ND, started the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH). Many of her articles can be found in back issues of Homeopathy Today, as well as accessed at the website of NESH.

She is the editor of the New England Journal of Homeopathy (nejh@nesh.com), which is published twice a year. She is a current member of the Amherst, Massachusetts Board of Health.
