Both a botany book and a materia medica, it has information about the symptomology of poisonings, and records of cases where the plant was successfully used, as well as a description of the homeopathic uses.

The original book contained magnificent hand-colored illustrations. The book was reprinted by the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1981, as a limited edition. It has subsequently been reprinted in India.
