Ronald D. Whitmont, MD is a second-generation Classical Homeopathic physician, current president of the American Institute of Homeopathy and former president of the Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of New York.
He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at New York Medical College where he directs studies in Complementary Alternative and Integrative Medicine.
He graduated from S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical School, Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, interned at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Integrative Medicine.
He has been in private practice utilizing classical homeopathic medicine in both Rhinebeck and New York City, NY since 1995.
